Labor Day

Lots of people don't know who found labor day. Some people think Peter J. Mcguire and some think that Mathew Maguire did. The first Labor day was celebrated on September 5, 1882 on a Tuesday. The following year the workers took off again on September 5th. After that they decided to make Labor day the first Monday in September. To read more click here.
